What is GRC?
Governance, Risk and Compliance brings together the frameworks, assessments, and controls that prove your organisation manages security and regulatory obligations responsibly. It spans certification readiness, independent audit, risk management, and the day-to-day governance that keeps a programme alive between audits.
CyberAlpha runs these programmes end to end — from gap assessment and implementation through internal audit, evidence preparation, and continuous maintenance — so certification becomes a byproduct of good practice, not a fire drill.
Why do organizations need GRC & Compliance?
Customers, regulators, and partners increasingly require proof — ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR, HIPAA, DPDP, RBI, SEBI, IRDAI. Without it, deals stall and penalties mount.
A well-run GRC programme turns that obligation into an advantage: a clear risk picture, fewer surprises at audit, and a trust signal you can show every prospect.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is ISO 27001?
ISO/IEC 27001 is an international standard for an Information Security Management System (ISMS). It focuses on understanding information-security risks, selecting appropriate controls and evaluating their effectiveness. Independent certification is performed by a certification body; we provide readiness and implementation support.
ISO 27001 vs SOC 2 — what is the difference?
ISO 27001 is a certifiable ISMS standard; SOC 2 is an attestation in which an independent CPA firm reports on controls against selected Trust Services Criteria. They differ in structure, assessment and reporting. Choose based on customer requirements, geography and goals — some organisations pursue both.
How do I prepare for certification?
Define the scope, assess information-security risks, select and document controls, establish policies and processes, collect evidence, train staff, and run internal audits and management reviews. Close gaps before the independent audit. The plan depends on scope and maturity.
What is a compliance audit?
A compliance audit evaluates whether your controls, processes and evidence meet specified legal, regulatory, contractual or standards-based requirements. A readiness assessment identifies gaps first, which is distinct from an independent certification or attestation.
How much does certification cost?
Total cost depends on organisation size, scope, locations, complexity, existing controls and certification-body fees. Readiness consulting and audit fees are separate. A realistic estimate needs a defined scope and gap assessment.
Do you also test the controls, not just the paperwork?
Yes. Penetration testing and technical validation are included so your controls hold up under audit and real-world attack — not just on paper.
