What is VAPT?
VAPT — Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing — combines broad vulnerability discovery with hands-on exploitation to find, validate, and prioritise real security weaknesses across your digital estate. The assessment phase surfaces potential issues at scale; the penetration-testing phase proves which ones a real attacker could actually use.
The result is a prioritised, business-contextual view of your risk — with reproducible evidence and remediation guidance your engineers can act on — not a raw scanner dump.
Why do organizations need VAPT?
Vulnerabilities exist at every layer of modern IT — web and mobile apps, APIs, cloud, internal and external networks, and IoT/OT. Attackers only need one. Independent, regular testing surfaces exploitable gaps before they become breaches, data loss, or downtime.
Beyond risk reduction, VAPT provides the evidence regulators and customers expect. PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and the DPDP Act all call for periodic testing, making VAPT a cornerstone of both security and compliance.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between vulnerability assessment and penetration testing?
A vulnerability assessment identifies and prioritises potential weaknesses across agreed assets. Penetration testing attempts controlled exploitation to determine whether selected weaknesses can actually affect confidentiality, integrity, availability or access. The two complement each other.
How does a VAPT engagement work?
It starts with scoping, written authorisation, asset confirmation and testing rules. Consultants identify vulnerabilities, validate findings safely, document evidence and risk, and provide remediation guidance. A retest verifies fixes. The exact process depends on the target and agreed scope.
Scanner or manual testing — what do you use?
Manual testing, supported by tooling. Automated scanners miss business-logic flaws and chained vulnerabilities and produce false positives. Certified consultants test by hand and validate every finding so you act on real risk.
Is my data safe during testing?
Yes. We work under NDA, use encrypted artifacts and need-to-know access, define safe testing windows and rules of engagement, and never exfiltrate or retain sensitive data beyond the engagement.
Do you provide a certificate and retest after fixes?
Yes. After remediation we perform a free retest to confirm closure and issue a summary certificate plus a detailed technical report suitable for auditors, customers and boards.
How long does a test take?
Most assessments run 1–3 weeks depending on scope and application complexity. We give you a realistic timeline on the scoping call.
